Savoey is a great choice for those who don’t speak the language, as it offers both English and Thai menus. Additionally, their website is available in Thai, English, Japanese, and Korean. Most dishes on the menu are reasonably priced, ranging from THB 150 to 300, which is an affordable range for the quality and location of the restaurant.

Beverage

After placing our order, the first thing to arrive at the table was our drinks. Since we had already indulged in plenty of Thai-style iced drinks such as mango smoothies and sparkling butterfly pea lemongrass juice during our trip to Thailand, we decided to try something new and ordered the rose lemon iced tea. It was a refreshing and satisfying choice that helped us beat the heat. Highly recommended!

Tom Yum Gong

Tom Yum Gong is one of the signatures of Savoey, rich in coconut milk and constantly heated atop a small tabletop stove. For some people, Tom Yum Gong could have been a little bit less spicy, especially for those who are not used to traditional Thai flavors.

Pineapple Fried Rice

Make sure to also order pineapple fried rice in your order. Beautifully plated, the aromatic and savory rice is studded in a cut pineapple and sprinkled with crab meat and prawn for a refreshing and appetizing meal to fill your stomach.

Fried Prawn Cakes

Going on forward, fried prawn cakes are crunchy and fun on the palate, pairing perfectly with the pineapple fried rice. They will give you a small portion of sweet and sour sauce for the dipping.

Stir-Fried Curry Crab

Most likely to be sold out, Stir-Fried Curry Crab is the most famous order. A big, chunky crab sunbathes atop a bed of yellow curry, delighting your taste bud with the flavor of southern Thailand. The thick yellow curry smothering the crab was sweetish with mild chili heat. Pair it with the rice so it can be blended into the rich herb and spice flavors.

Conclusion

Given the location, the price, and the food quality, I believe Savoey is worth trying if your palate is forgiving with the strong Thai herbs and spices. No matter what you order, make sure to stick to the pillar dishes I recommended above and you won’t be disappointed.
